Questions About the Photography Course

Do I need my own DSLR camera?

This course is best suited to those who already own or have access to a DSLR or mirrorless camera, since sessions are built around hands-on shooting practice.

Is this course beginner friendly?

Yes. It starts from camera fundamentals — exposure, aperture, shutter speed and ISO — before moving into creative shooting techniques, so no prior photography background is required.

How is this different from the Certification in Photography course?

This is a focused 1-month course covering camera craft, lighting and shoot techniques. The Certification in Photography is a longer 3-month program that also adds full Photoshop retouching and Premiere Pro video editing.

Is a certificate provided after the course?

Yes, students receive a course-completion certificate from Prism Animation College after finishing the full 1-month syllabus.

What kind of shoots does the course cover?

The syllabus covers candid, fashion and pre/post-wedding photography and cinematography, along with strobe, continuous and flash lighting including 3-point lighting setups.
